A rich dessert easy for snacking or to share with your friends, this recipe for apple pie, will love it!
I try to avoid desserts, because of the calories, but there are some I can't resist. Or like this pumpkin pie I shared recently.
It is the case of this apple pay that is very rich, the best thing is that it is very practical because I did it with ready-to-use puff pastry; but if you know it, to do the right, it must look very good; fill it with the ingredients below and you'll suck your fingers!
I hope you enjoy it.
6 Green apples (Granny Smith) sliced
3/4 Cup brown sugar
2 Cuch flour
2 Cuckoo melted butter
1 Cinnamon powder
1 Lemon (juice)
1/4 Teaspoon ginger powder
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
2 Bark or puff pastry for pay (I used Pillsbury™ Refrigerated Pie Crust )
2Cuch of milk or water
If you are going to use the same Pillsbury dough™ Refrigerated Pie Crust take it off the container and follow the unrolling instructions.
Peel the apples, slice and remove the heart.
Preheat the oven to 375F or 190C
Place one of the pieces of puff pastry or pie crust in a pre-greased pan with oil or butter.
In addition, we mix the sugar, flour, cinnamon, ginger, salt, and nutmeg.
Add apples and lemon juice; Mix.
We empty the ingredients in the mold that has the crust for pay.
Baththe mixture with melted butter, unmixed.
We place the second piece of puff pastry mace to cover the pay, completely covering it; you can make some design with the fork or some cookie cutter.
Barnize it (To varnish the Pay: Beat an egg without foaming. Gradually add a tablespoon of water or milk. Sit over the pay dough with a brush).
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon to taste.
We cover the entire edge of the pay with foil, so it doesn't burn.
Bake the pay for 30 minutes, quickly remove the foil from the edges. Bake for 15 more minutes or until the pay looks golden.
Remove from the oven and let cool, remember that the inside must be very hot.
