Red Sauce Pork Ribs for Las Posadas

I share my recipe for pork ribs in red sauce, easier than ever! I also invite you to participate in the Herdez Contest and in the blog giveaway, the prizes are very good and will be 3 winners!

We are about to start with the Posadas, this year we will celebrate at least one here, but we hope to go to several in Mexico, with my family and friends who i miss so much.

Can you imagine a Mexican Inn in USA? Well if there are and can be very similar to those of Mexico, well it depends on each host, but most of those I have known respect the traditions and for dinner they offer typical Mexican food, without missing a rich punch and piñata.

Red Sauce Pork Ribs for Herdez Inns

I love the inns and I try to have my children live them as closely as Mexico and since most of my friends and those around me are Mexicans, we do not struggle to put the party together big, we all have some sauce to share and despite being from the same country , many times we get a rich surprise with some dishes that we don't know.

At the Inns, we sing, we pray, we eat, we break the piñata and we even dance. I try to always carry a different Mexican recipe, this time I will wear these pork ribs in red sauce, which my mom prepares to offer apart from the tamales; but I prepared them using homemade red sauce HERDEZ® Mild Homemade Sauce, for my family and passed the test! Everyone liked it, the best thing is that it is practical, I share it and I hope you enjoy it.

Pork Ribs in Red Sauce

Pork Ribs in Red Sauce

1/2 onion, cracked
2 sprigs chopped coriander
3 cups water
Garlic powder
Pepper
Oil

Season the pork ribs with garlic powder, salt and pepper. If the pieces are too big, we can break them into smaller pieces.

Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the pork ribs, lower the heat.

Add the water and cover until the ribs are cooked, (we can check from time to time so they don't run out of water).

Cook for about an hour or until the meat is soft.

In another frying pan heat a few drops of oil and fry the onion in slices, made transparent or citrelated.

Add the sauce and coriander, turn off when it boils.

When the meat is soft, add the sauce and let it boil everything together for a minute.

We shut down and serve. We can accompany with rice, beans and tortillas.

I assure you, your guests are going to suck their fingers, like my family!
