Cook this rich pasta that your family will love, the Spaguetti a la Bolognese or Bolognesa is a very rich and easy Italian dish to prepare.
Most kids love pasta, that's how it happens with my kids, the pasta never fails. This time I prepared a bolognese spaguetti, it is a complete dish, which we accompany with some green salad and garlic bread.
Basil gives it a special flavor, some people also add oregano but I like it that way. Same with red wine, if you want you can add a splash to the tomato sauce when it's cooking.

Spaguetti a la Bolognese or Bolognese
2 Spaguetti Packages (12 oz)
1/2 Onion, finely chopped
3 Carrots, finely chopped
1/2 kg ground beef
2 chopped tomatoes
1 medium can of red tomato sauce
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cuckoo olive oil
1 teaspoon sugar
Salt to taste
Optional Parmesan cheese
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
While it's brewing, we're making the bolognese sauce.
Season the ground beef with the garlic powder, pepper and salt.
Heat oil in a frying pan over high heat and add the meat to cool a little, de-digging well so there are no large chunks left.
Then add the chopped onion and carrot and move constantly until the onion is clear.
Add the tomato sauce, water, chopped tomatoes, sugar and dried basil, mix, lower the heat, cover and leave to cook for five to seven minutes.
In the meantime, we drain the spaguetti and separate.
When the sauce is ready, remove from the heat.
To serve, we settle the spaguetti on the plate and on top of that we empty some of the meat sauce.
We can add Parmesan cheese to taste, garnish with basil leaves and serve with garlic bread.
