October is National Eczema Eczema Month. Recognize supheals and appropriate treatment to prevent it.
When my first child was born, we didn't even know that eczema or eczema existed; we would then go with the dermatologist, because his skin was red and dry, he complained perhaps about the itching, these dryness came out in his joints, behind his knees, in his arms, in his groins, sometimes cracks came out or his skin was seen thick.
The dermatologist told us, it will not be taken away unless you move to a place with the ideal, cool climate; that would help the skin, he explained that the symptoms of eczema, are the inflammation and itching of the skin from stress, heat and sweat, sudden changes in temperature, extremely cold or dry climates, by inheritance or by allergens in the air or meals or irritant Is.
He recommended that we use Aveeno cream and since then we used it in my house. We now know that my son and husband have atopic dermatitis, the most common type of eczema. They are accentuated in hot time and when it is very cold.
In truth, eczema should be treated to avoid a negative impact on overall health, well-being, quality of life and restful sleep.
Recommendations for people who have Eczema or Eczema according to Dr. Kenneth Beer's:
- Treating eczema in infants, children and adults is a combination of preventive and therapeutic efforts.
- Use moisturizing cleansers and protective creams with soothing ingredients like daily colloidal oats to maintain the integrity of the skin barrier.
- Look for products with ceramides—a natural essential lipid inside the skin that plays a key role in improving and restoring the protective function of the skin.
- Use fragrance-free detergents to wash clothes, sheets and towels and avoid softener dryer cloths.
- Don't use body solutions with irritants that can aggravate eczema on your skin or cause it to get exacerbated.
- Do not use products with fragrances or dyes.
