1/2 onion,
4 garlic,
4 bay,
1 cup orange juice,
2 tablespoons powder chicken broth,
1 1/2 cups water
Cook in the slow cooker for about 7 hrs, the pork will be very soft, juicy and easy to pull off.
1 1/2 pound pork leg
If your pot does not have a thermometer, set the temperature to High and leave it around 6-7 hours for the amount of meat I use.
When pork carnitas are ready, you can drain, and eat like that or you can fry them to make it a little golden brown.
1 1/2 pound pork leg
With these carnitas recipe you can make tacos, cakes, carnitas in salsa verde, carnitas en mole, etc.
