Volunteering at your children’s school can benefit you in a number of ways, the main reason is that you show your children their school activities are important. Get involved, if it’s a bilingual school you can even practice English!
Here are some examples to get you involved in your children’s school.
Nine ways to volunteer at your children’s school
- Like chaperones on school walks.
- Taking copies at the school office.
- Organizing or attending celebrations.
- If you have any skills you can share with the children, tell the teacher.
- Contributing to school fundraising activities.
- Participating as a classroom mom or a mom mom.
- Helping with school room or hallway decorations.
- Attending the teacher.
- Reading stories to the children.
Perhaps many parents work, but perhaps many do not, or we do not give importance to it; I think it’s very important for our children to see that we care about them and their school, and we’re more aware of what’s going on there.
Let’s make an effort to participate, every effort pays off and at the end of the school year we will realize the achievements.
