How to make a unicorn basket

Check out how to make a unicorn basket for Easter or for baby shower. This colorful basket is so easy to make and your kids will love it!

This time I’m going to a friend’s baby shower and she’ll be a girl! As a millennial mom, I know she loves unicorns, so I decided to make a unicorn basket, where I’m going to put the presents.

The basket can serve the mother later for souvenirs when the baby is born and people are visiting her.

We can also use this unicorn basket for Easter.

To fill the basket, I recommend Johnson and Johnson products, the favorites of many Latina moms. The brand has come with a very modern and tender designer wrap, exclusive to Target: Johnson’s Head-to-Toe Wash, Johnson’s Baby Lotion, Johnson’s Baby Shampoo, Johnson’s Baby Bedtime Bath, and Johnson’s Baby Bedtime Lotion.

For Johnson & Johnson, safety is priority #1, its products are hypoallergenic, meet baby standards. You can find them in the baby area on a ledge at the end of the aisle and also online on target. Com

How to make a unicorn basket

Materials

A medium basket
Tulle, feathers, or paper for the filling
A colored tutu (or bits of colored tulle)
Colored artificial flowers
Glue gun or silicone gun
1 foam letter-size gold color.
2 felt (or foam) letter-size sheets white and pink

Heat the glue gun.

Take the golden foam and form the cone, which should be long and thin. Cut the rest of the foam and paste to form the unicorn basket horn.

Cut a mold for the unicorn ears on a piece of paper. We make a smaller one with the same figure.

With the large mold, cut two ears on the white felt. With the small one, cut out the two ears of the pink felt.

Glue the pink part of the ear in the middle of the white ear. Once glued, we take the two pieces, place a drop of silicone in the middle, and glue as pinching only the middle part to shape the ear.

Stick the tutu on the handle of the basket and the flowers on top of it.

We stick the horn in the middle and the ears on each side.

Place the colorful tulle or anything you’re going to use as a filler inside the basket.

We add the gifts you prefer (or candies and treats for Easter).

Making a gift like this basket is so fun for a  unicorn Easter basket or for new moms is practical because the kind of gifts she carries are most consumables.
