Mickey Mouse gelatin cups or Mickey mouse jello cups

Check out how to make Mickey Mouse gelatin cups, so easy for parties or to celebrate your Disney Side.

A few days ago we had a Mickey Mouse ClubHouse Disney party, to celebrate my eldest son’s sixteenth birthday. He loves parties so he doesn’t worry about looking childish showing his Disney Side  we all have one, or not?

By the way, the theme for his party last year was Toy Story we even made a piñata of the alien.

To make Mickey Mouse jello cups I used these Wilton Mickey Mouse cookie cutters I hope you like them.

MICKEY MOUSE GELATIN CUPS or mickey mouse jello cups

Ingredients
(For 10 servings)

1 Small gelatin package of any flavor (preferably dark)
1 Large Gelatin Strawberry flavor (or red)
1 black food coloring
4 cups water
1 Mickey Mouse cookie cutter
10 clear disposable small cups

Prepare the small gelatin package In an extended container (you can use a rectangular cake mold). Make the gelatin it according to the package instructions, but using only half the water it indicates, so gelatin remain a little bit harder than normal.

We want to create a layer of gelatin of about half a centimeter,so add a few drops of black dye to the small gelatin, mix and put in the refrigerator until firm, it should not take long because it is a very thin layer.

In the meantime prepare the red jelly ( the flavor you have chosen) according to instructions and leave it outside the refrigerator so that it cools a little, but it does get so firm.

Take out from the fridge the black gelatin and use the Mickey Mouse cookie cutter to form the figures. Carefully, remove the leftover jelly from the edges and Mickey Mouse faces will be formed.

Fill the cups with the red gelatin and place a Mickey Mouse jelly face in each of them.

Take them to the fridge so that they set together for about two hours.

I hope you enjoye these Mickey Mouse gelatin cups!
