I usually drink lattes every day and later a glass of milk with oats, something easy and quick to start working, here I explain how I prepare milk with oatmeal and hot or cold fruits.
You can also prepare it on the stove.
Milk atole with oatmeal and fruit
(gives 1 glass)
1 large glass or microwave container
3/4 milk cup
3 tablespoons instant oats (One Minute)
Sugar or bee honey to taste
1 cinnamon sprig
Optional ground cinnamon
* Chopped fruit to choose from : strawberries, apple, blueberries or banana, etc.
We're going to occupy a large glass, because oatmeal increases in size when cooked.
If you like thicker oats, add one more tablespoon.
Add the milk to the glass, immediately oats and cinnamon slit, mix and microwave for 2 minutes.
Remove the glass from the microwave, mix, and sweeten with sugar or honey.
We put in the microwave for another minute, making sure it doesn't pull.
Remove from the microwave, remove the cinnamon, mix and add some ground cinnamon to decorate.
You can add some chopped fruit such as strawberries, apple, blueberries or banana, etc. (if frozen, put them in the last minute of cooking the oatmeal).
Smoothor or milkshake with oats and fruits
(For a glass)
We use the same ingredients, except whole cinnamon, we can replace it with half a tablespoon of vanilla extract.
We smooth the raw dry oats.
Add cold milk, fruit, sugar and ground cinnamon or vanilla extract. We're liquefied.
We enjoyed cold.
