We have gone several times to Schillterbahn New Braunfels and it is still one of my favorite waterparks, because of the wide variety of rides or attractions it has, especially river-type ones, this time we stayed at the resort.
We paid a nominal price as a member of Texas Travel Talk Community.
This time I went with my family for the first Travel Talk Converge conference where we were Texas travel bloggers who have several things in common: We love to travel as a family and live in Texas.
We stayed in a cabin at Riverbend Cabins, in the Blastenhoff Section of Schlitterbahn New Braunfels, made me very convenient and comfortable; with two beds, sofa bed, bathroom and full kitchen.
I noticed that Schlitterbahn offers different types of accommodation: apart from cabins; there are one and two bedroom hotel rooms, luxury suites and vacation homes. Also, although there is food sales and it's my good, you can bring your own food and drink.
During the sessions, our families went to enjoy the attractions of Schlitterbahn New Braunfels Waterpark, famous for being the number one water park for the past 21 years! It also has 51 attractions for moderate to extreme adventures.
After the sessions, we were able to enjoy the attractions of Schlitterbahn New Braunfels with the family. This water park is open all year round.
The conference was at the Bavarian Halle, a reception hall that belongs to this waterpark, very nice.
Travel, business and photography tips we learned at Travel Talk Converge.
Katie Moreno talked about how to tell stories with our photos (Telling Your Story with Photos). We were recommended to be authentic when taking photos, not perfect; look for different angles, tell a story and capture a memory. I very much agree, I like to be different and not take the same pictures as the others.
Jennifer Navarrete gave us easy video tips for travel bloggers. (Easy video for travel bloggers). He recommended using a ring light or ring of light to take better photos and told us that our Smartphone is the best pocket studio. He also encouraged us to take advantage of everything we know whether by taking courses, creating an ebook, etc!
Daniel Senyard talked about the business of Travel Influence. He recommended taking time planning, to achieve a more successful end product. For example, if you're going to speak in public, prepare and rehearse what you're going to say before. If you're going to send a pitch or proposal you said to propose realistic expectations and exceed them and not be shy when asking for money, you're not asking for a favor, the benefit for both parties.
Marika Flatt talked about increasing our footprint in the mean or Grow your media footprint. I ask you every day: What is something you can do today to make money? And mention one thing you can do for someone. That's the way you connect with people and build your business.
