drum crafts

To celebrate the release of this movie, I will show you how to make a drum inspired on the life circle.

The drum was a very easy craft to do, it was my daughter and me, it can serve as an activity or craft for children at a party or just to playmaking music.

You can use recycled material like a metal can or you can also get materials to make it buying this drum kit.

HOW TO MAKE A DRUM

Material

Cardboard cylinder (or a metal can)
2 Circles of suede skin fabric or foam
Acrylic paint
Natural fiber brush
Skin-type lace
Stencil leaf
two wood or plastic sticks or Drumsticks

Decorate the cardboard cylinder as you prefer. If you’re using the kit I mentioned before, use the paintings and the stencil with the Lion King figures.

Remember to let the paint dry between layer and layer for a better finish.

Make sure the cylinder cap is securely closed, you can use glue to secure.

Place one of the circles on the table and on top of the cardboard cylinder, add the other circle of fabric above the cylinder.

Pass the cord through one of the holes in the circle and seal it, making a knot at one end.

Go intertwine the cord by alternating up and down through the holes that have the fabric circles until finished and tie a knot at the end.

You can decorate the sticks or leave them as they are.
