Rice with Milk, I want to marry a lady who knows… Cook?
Yesterday I was preparing white rice for dinner, when suddenly I was craving a rice with milk, with all the activities I had no longer gave me time to prepare it.
So today I finished eating, I thought I'd make a Rice with Express Milk in the microwave oven, "A la Huevoné" as my mother would say; with a recipe similar to Grandma's, but much easier. It's not that I'm lazy, it's rather that I'm practical and let me tell you that after trying it I didn't regret it, save me time, effort and the result? Delicious!
I wish you are encouraged to prepare it, you can vary the flavor according to your taste, I like it with vanilla, but you can still use cinnamon and raisins or even add some fruit as a banana at the end.
(in the Microwave)
1 cup uneaten, cooked white rice
1 cup milk or half and half
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
Sugar or sugary condensed milk to taste.
In a microwave glass we combine cooked rice, vanilla and milk; We're in the microwave for a minute and a half.
Take out the glass with the mixture, mix, detor the rice with a spoon and put it back in the microwave for thirty seconds.
Repeat this step two or three times or until the rice is soft, it is blaming and the mixture is thick. (we do this within thirty seconds to prevent it from spilling if the milk boils).
We sweeten to taste with sugar or sugary condensed milk and mix well.
We garnish with cinnamon powder or pasitas as you prefer.
You can serve it cold or hot, as you prefer.
