This German festival takes place every year at Landa Park, with a spectacular view of the Comal River in New Braunfels.
WURSTFEST German-Texan Festival is ten days of dancing, live music, family entertainment, and beer that visitors should not miss.
The festival often includes demonstrations of traditional German sausage-making, showing how families prepare and enjoy their sausages each year.
Visitors can also enjoy a wide variety of German food, beer, and entertainment.
What is WURSTFEST?
WURSTFEST is a community festival that celebrates German heritage and sausage (Würstl) in New Braunfels. It also supports local non-profits and provides fun activities for all ages.
The festival is held each year at Landa Park, with a beautiful view of the Comal River.
Visitors are encouraged to dress in German attire such as dirndls or lederhosen, but it is optional.
WURSTFEST Food
- German food such as sausage (Würstl), Dusseldog on Pretzel Roll, Wurst-n-Taschen, skewered pork chops, bavarian bratwurst, sausage-on-a-Stick, Pork Schnitzel, Wurstkabob, strudel, Reuben Sandwiches, Wurst Taco, Wurst Nachos, Sauerkraut, German Drop French Donut, and more.
- American fair food including Fried Oreo Cookie, Frito Pie, Fried Pickles, Corn-on-the-Cob, Turkey Legs, Ice Cream Scoop, and Funnel Cake.

Beer and Drinks
- Enjoy German and craft beer, as well as national and imported beer.
- Beer is served in souvenir cups, Wurstfest pitchers, or one-liter souvenir steins. Wine, water, and soft drinks are also available.

The festival will be held at Wurstfest Grounds, 178 Landa Park Dr, New Braunfels, TX 78130. German attire is optional!
- Entrance tickets give access to all entertainment. Buy tickets here.
- Weekday admission (Monday – Thursday) is free, except Fridays.
- Children 12 and under enter free.
- November 7-16, 2025.
