Turkey Legs fair style

Surprise your family with these turkey legs fair style in the oven, it is easy and they are delicious.

I was thinking about the last time that I went to the Texas State Fair I ate a delicious turkey leg.

So the next time I went to the store and I saw the giant turkey legs in the meat section I couldn’t resist and I bought some to prepare for dinner.

I cooked the turkey legs on the stove just like when you cook chicken.

You just have to make sure they are fully cooked. After this, I put them in the oven just to brown the skin or skin and it would be crunchy.

I served them with baked potatoes that I prepared with olive oil and seasoned with garlic, salt, and paprika.  Dinner was delicious and the craving was satisfied, I hope you enjoy them!

Rinse the turkey legs and bring them to a boil with salt, onion, and garlic.

When cooked, remove the turkey legs and place them on a tray covered with parchment paper.

Heat the oven to 325 F or 160 C.

Baste legs with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Add some barbeque sauce if you prefer or you can also do it until the end.

When the oven temperature is ready, bake the fair-style turkey legs for 15 minutes or until the skin browns.

Turn your legs occasionally with tweezers, and avoid pricking them with a fork, because this will cause the turkey juices to come out.

Take out the turkey legs and add the barbeque sauce of your choice.

Serve them with fries, roasts, cole slow or cole salad, potato salad, or beans.
